Learning about a company’s history and understanding their vision for the future is an essential step of Communicor’s design process for creating an impactful brand identity.
Formerly A&B Converters, the rebranded AB Cattech wanted a new, contemporary logo design that would maintain a connection to the founders while reinforcing the company’s primary focus on technology in the catalyst processing industry. They required a primary logo as the face of the company to the outside world and a secondary logo to use internally for employee-facing communications.
The selected color palate exemplifies strength. The bold treatment of “AB” symbolizes the tie to the company founders while the two-tone “CATTECH” represents their process and technology. The design element serves to anchor the text while graphically depicting both forward momentum and the catalyst process.
